Interested in Energy? On June 06, EnTranCe organizes a guided tour around the facility for everyone who is interested in EnTranCe and the topic of energy transition.
Each month, the open house will focus on a different topic. In June the focus lies on hydrogen and it’s role in the energy system. The choice of topic is based on one of the five main themes of EnTranCe: alternative (transport and production of) gases & hybrid fuels. Hereby the focus lays on integrating local production and storage of heat and power by means of modeling and demonstration, control strategy and implementation possibilities and the use of hydrogen. Several projects such as Power2Flex (Experiments on house, mobility and small industrial level) and FlexNode (efficiency improvement of reversible fuel cells) at EnTranCe are related to this topic.
EnTranCe is the place for students, researchers and companies to collaborate on sustainable energy solutions and a joint initiative of Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen and the Energy Academy Europe. For an initial idea of what EnTranCe is all about, watch the video below.
