Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen starts with Digital Society Hub

The Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen receives a Digital Society Hub; an innovation workshop where students, teachers, researchers and entrepreneurs working together on the latest technological developments Technological developments in a wide  range of disciplines move rapidly forward. Whether it is about developments in the field of safe living, healthy aging, a vital economy or sustainable energy; in almost all these developments ICT plays a key role. The Digital Society Hub is an inspiring workplace where multidisciplinary teams working on new products and applications in the field of 5G, Big Data or E-Health. In the hub, applications can be devised with the help of for example virtual reality, augmented reality, games or drones. Strategic ambitions The Digital Society Hub will be developed by the School of Communication, Media & IT and is located at EnTranCe (Zernike campus). This development goes in line with the strategic ambition of the Hanze UAS to further develop the Northern Netherlands and to position it as a strong region known for the innovative ways in which social and economic benefits from innovation. 5g
