On Monday 21 March 2016, organizes the Institute of Engineering the ‘Engineering the Future’ event, where young engineering professionals have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their future.
‘Engineering the Future’ is entirely devoted to developments in the field of Engineering and consists of speakers, workshops, lunch as well as a student and business market. The event takes place at EnTranCe; the brand new hotspot on the Zernike campus where businesses, entrepreneurs and education work together to build the energy supply of tomorrow.
In addition to interesting speakers who talk about the interface of engineering with energy, health and entrepreneurship, many young professionals of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen will participate in this event in order to get an orientation for their future. During the event there will be a business market where students and companies can engage with each other in discussions about jobs, internships, graduation assignments and job prospects. The day ends with drinks.
It will be an interactive day with lectures, workshops and a networking lunch during which each individual will have plenty of opportunity to network with students and professionals from the field of engineering. Both students and staff of the educational programs Electrical Engineering, Human Technology, Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering take part in this event.
