On the 27 of November the WarmteStad – a collaboration of the Municipality of Groningen and Groningen Waters – invites residents of the Paddepoel and Selwerd area to join the Wijksafari (District Safari) and to get the newest information about plans surrounding the geothermal well at the Zernike Campus. With heat from this source more than 10,000 houses in Groningen shall be heated, starting in the districts Selwerd and Paddepoel.
The safari starts in the Paddepoel district, more specifically at the SPAR supermarket near the Zonnelaan, with coffee / tea and something sweet. After this initial meet-up the group will cycle together to the Energy Barn, located at EnTranCe and not far from the intended location of the geothermal resource.
In the Energy Barn, two representatives of WarmteStad will provide the newest updates regarding this project and will be open to answer questions from the audience. Moderator of this day is Carla Veldhuis. Following the question round there will be drinks.
Participation in the Wijksafari (District Safari) is free of charge.
However, due to the purchase of drinks and snacks, participation should be announced until the 15th of Novmeber via: email@example.com
We hope to see you on:
